Sled Fest

The 2025 NHL Sled Classic was the biggest and arguably the best event yet. The inaugural Sled Classic in 2010 featured four NHL-affiliated adult sled hockey teams and 46 players. This year’s event drew 27 teams and 350 players from across the U.S. and Canada to the Clark Gillies Arena in Dix Hills and The Rinx in Hauppauge. The New York Islanders, with the support of the Long Island Rough Riders Sled Hockey Team, hosted the four-day event that crowned six champions, including the Buffalo Sabres squad that won the Tier 2 division.
