GameSheet Inc, the most trusted name in digital scorekeeping and league management is pleased to announce the signing of a deal to score youth hockey games for more than 2,200 teams in the New York State Amateur Hockey Association, one of the oldest and most respected hockey organizations in North America.
Leading the way as an early adopter of GameSheet, the forward thinking executive staff at NYSAHA started using the system to score its state events five years ago when the product first launched in the United States growing nearly 10 fold from 35,000 games scored to more than 320,000 this past season.
Starting in August 2024, all NYSAHA teams will be able to use GameSheet to score their league games and well as all qualifying games for the N.Y. state tournament.
“We know GameSheet very well,” said Eric Guzdek, president for NYSAHA. “We’ve worked closely with their team for many years and we’re proud to usher our hockey community into the digital world on an affiliate wide basis with a proven best-in-class technology partner. GameSheet improves the workflow for volunteers, league executives, webmasters, referees, coaches, team managers and most importantly our families who run their lives with technology…their hockey experience should be the same.”
GameSheet is the most trusted source for integrated digital scorekeeping and league management since 2013. Its intuitive system eases the burden of every stakeholder in the scoring and league management process, from league executives, coaches, managers, referees, time keepers and parents.
Every youth hockey game played in Wisconsin, Michigan, Rhode Island, the Carolinas, Arizona, Washington, Colorado, Maine, New Hampshire, and Minnesota is scored on the GameSheet platform. Also, NHL franchises Chicago Blackhawks, Nashville Predators, Tampa Bay Lightning, Colorado Avalanche and Anaheim Ducks are GameSheet customers.
The user-friendly system saves countless volunteer hours by eliminating paper score sheets / roster stickers while automating the entire process of scoring a hockey game, tracking standings, stats, scores, discipline issues and a host of reporting capabilities.
Scorekeepers intuitively score the game on an iPad with rosters downloaded directly from USA Hockey while the system generates an official signed score sheet automatically emailed to the coach and team manager after the game. Game action is streamed live back to league or association websites with NHL style official results posted real time so hockey families have the ability to follow along if they can't get to a game.
With real time access to every detail of the game, GameSheet moves sports forward through patent pending analytics focused on players, referees, penalties, suspensions, injuries and more. Decision makers are able to develop policy based on immediate data helping grow the game while making sports safer and more enjoyable for players, families and fans.
