The NYSAHA is planning to hold annual Player Development Tryouts for all female athletes with birth years from 2009 to 2014 during the weekend of MARCH 20, 2026. These tryouts are used to identify and select highly skilled players that will advance to USA Hockey Player Development, Regional & NYS Camps to be held this summer. PLEASE NOTE - The application is for FEMALES WITH BIRTH YEARS OF 2009 TO 2014 ONLY!!! MOST QUESTIONS ARE REQUIRED ON THE APPLICATION. PLEASE BE CAREFUL TO ENTER ACCURATE INFORMATION AS IT CURRENTLY CANNOT BE EDITED ONCE THE APPLICATION IS SUBMITTED! YOU WILL NEED YOUR USAH 25-26 MEMBERSHIP NUMBER AND CREDIT CARD INFORMATION TO APPLY! Applications need to be submitted no later than FEBRUARY 27, 2026.

THE FOLLOWING IS THE GIRLS PLAYER DEVELOPMENT TRYOUT CALENDAR OF EVENTS:
SECTIONAL TRYOUTS: MARCH 20-22
Sectional Tryouts are open to any USAH registered female with birth years 2009 through 2014. Players will tryout in one of 4 locations to advance to the District Tryouts. Individual Section Tryout schedules may vary.
DISTRICT TRYOUTS: MAY1-3 SKANEATELES
District tryouts are by invitation only. Invitations are extended to females with birth years 2009 - 2012 who have been evaluated at Regional Tryouts. Players will compete for the opportunity to advance to Regional and National CampS.
NYSAHA SUMMER DEVELOPMENT CAMP: JULY 24-28, 2026 AMHERST
The Girls Summer Development Camp is an overnight camp designed for younger females who have taken part in the Regional Tryouts. More details regarding this camp will be available soon!
