THE PURPOSE OF THESE TRYOUTS IS TO BE EVALUATED FOR POTENTIAL ADVANCEMENT TO USAH NATIONAL CAMPS, REGIONAL SELECT CAMPS, AND THE NYSAHA SUMMER DEVELOPMENT CAMP. IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THESE CAMPS ATTENDANCE AT THESE TRYOUTS ARE REQUIRED!

This registration session will allow you to complete contact information, sign up for participation, and submit payment for the 2020 NYS Girls Sectional Player Development Tryout Weekend Registration. The Tryout Fee is $85 and includes evaluation, ice costs, and a jersey.

In accordance with USA Hockey and NYSAHA regulations regarding liability and consent ,the documents below need to completed and turned in prior to participating in any Player Development Regional Tryout. Please make sure you print, complete and submit each prior to the tryouts!

The guide gives complete and specific information about the development opportunities for female athletes within our state, along with how these opportunities can lead to camps at the regional and national level. As required by USA Hockey, each district is provided with a chart detailing how many teams each District may field at the Tier 1 Level in September for the FOLLOWING season. These numbers are based on formulated calculations that are registration based and are given to Districts one year in advance so that adequate planning can occur. For the 2020-2021 playing season the NYSAHA will see and increase in the number of Tier 1 teams allowed at both the 16U and 19U levels going up to 6 and 4 respectively. A listing of teams for each District and Affiliate can be found in the document below.
