To all Associations, Teams and coaches - The letter below outlines the guidelines for signing of players for the upcoming season. If you have any questions contact your Section/Zone Vice President. We will work through this together.

USA Hockey Leaders:

As we together work our way through the COVID-19 pandemic, U.S. Ice Rink Association, U.S. Figure Skating and USA Hockey have partnered together to develop the Returning To The Rinks guide. This document lays out some of the following concepts and ideas to consider as rinks and programs look to start opening:

  • Preparing rinks to re-open
  • Guidelines for returning to figure skating on-ice activities and Learn To Skate USA programs
  • Considerations for holding hockey programming

While we understand that different regions of the country will experience different phases of re-opening, we hope that this document helps with developing your plan to getting back on the ice.

The 2020 Bob Allen Scholarship applications have been posted to the website. Please insure all you eligible participants receive them for the opportunity to receive a scholarship. The deadline is for entry is being extended due to school closures. New deadline will be announced once schools reopen.

USA Hockey has developed the American Development Model (ADM) with a simple goal: to give back to the kids. The program provides age-appropriate guidelines and curriculum to hockey associations across America to help more kids play. For more information and program content follow this link to

2020 NYSAHA State Tournament merchandise

As we are all aware the current health situation in the State and Country lead to the cancellation of the 2020 State Tournaments for all Youth levels and ages. We were fortunate enough to get the High School and Girls events completed.

With the cancellation of weeks 3 and 4 there is a great deal of merchandise available for sale. Follow the link below to see/purchase merchandise.
