Diversity and Inclusion

Introduction

Caleb Williamson is the Diversity and Inclusion Coordinator for NYSAHA. He is a recent graduate of Syracuse University College of Law where he was the captain of his law school hockey team, a Law School Admission Ambassador, and Class Senator. During his time in law school he served two terms on the Northeast Regional Board of the National Black Law Student’s Association, and currently sits on the Alumni Advisory Board. While Caleb is open to working in all legal fields, his primary interests include elder law, zoning law, and estate planning. 

Prior to Law School, he attended Hamilton College in Clinton, N.Y., where he majored in Philosophy and minored in Africana Studies. At Hamilton College, he played on the Hamilton Men’s Club Ice Hockey Team of the Upstate New York Hockey League (U.N.Y.C.H.L.) where he captained his senior year. Additionally, he captained the Hamilton College Club Tennis team in both his junior and senior years.

Prior to college, Caleb attended Saint Mary’s Preparatory High School in Manhasset, NY where he played four year on the Varsity Hockey Team. His senior year he was recognized as the team’s  MVP and also received the Hobey Baker High School Character Award. While in High School Caleb played in the L.I.A.H.L with a whole host of teams and ended his 12-year USA Hockey career with the Great Neck Bruins 18U AA.

            Caleb loves the game of hockey and believes that hockey can truly be for everyone. He is excited to serve in this new role and looks forward to working with USA Hockey and NYSAHA.
