Girls Teams Take Center Stage At The 2025 N.Y. State Tournament

With USA Hockey National Championship bids on the line for some of the top girls’ teams in the state, the action was fast, furious and fun during the second weekend of the 2025 New York State Tournaments.

Up for grabs were titles at the Tier I and Tier II 14 & Under, 16 & Under and 19 & Under divisions. Once again several powerhouse programs were refusing to relinquish their grips on their respective divisions as Rochester Youth Hockey once again reigned supreme at the Tier I 16U and 19U divisions. In the Tier II 16U divisions the Adirondack Northstars took home their fifth consecutive title.

Tier I champions will represent New York at the USA Hockey National Championships at the New England Sports Center in Marlborough, Mass., while the Tier II title holders will move on to compete in Coral Springs, Fla. (14U), Ashburn/Springfield, Va. (16U) and Cleveland (19U).

Once again, the Northtown Center in Amherst and the Cornerstone CFCU Arena in Lockport played great hosts to players and their families.

The action picks up again on Friday, March 14 when the top youth teams from around the state face off at the Tier I and Tier II 14 & Under, 15 Only,16 & Under and 18 & Under divisions.
