Whether your team has already hit the ice or you’re enjoying the last days of summer before your season ramps up, now is the time to take advantage of a great deal that allows New York teams to score all their games for free using GameSheet.
The most trusted source for integrated digital scorekeeping and league management, GameSheet’s intuitive system eases the burden of scoring and league management for league executives, coaches, managers, referees, timekeepers and parents.
NYSAHA’s board of directors unanimously voted to adopt GameSheet as our statewide scoring platform. Starting on Aug. 1, all NYSAHA tournament-bound teams are required to use GameSheet to score their qualifying games for the N.Y. state tournaments. All other registered youth and girls’ teams can also use GameSheet free of charge to score their games.
A number of leagues around the state are already using GameSheet with great success. The user-friendly system saves countless volunteer hours by eliminating paper score sheets and roster stickers while automating the entire process of scoring a game, tracking standings, stats, scores and discipline issues and includes a host of reporting capabilities.
Scorekeepers intuitively score the game on an iPad Air 2 or newer model with rosters downloaded directly from USA Hockey while the system generates an official signed score sheet that is automatically emailed to the coach and team manager after the game.
Game action is streamed live back to league or association websites with NHL-style official results posted real time so hockey families can follow along if they can’t get to a game.
If your rink does not have a WiFi connection in the scorer’s box, a representative with the home team can upload the rosters at home (or anywhere you have a WiFi connection), score the game at the rink and then upload the GameSheet once you return home.
All a team needs to do is register for a GameSheet free account and start using the scoring app right away. GameSheet is user friendly and simple to learn. It was designed by hockey people for hockey people.
